As you all know emerald green was announced as the Pantone color for 2013 and this year you will see this hue on the runways, on magazine covers and on your favorite celebs. Emerald green is already spotted on the spring 2013 runways of Burberry Prorsum, Oscar de la Renta, Gucci and Michael Kors and after all celebrities like  Angelina Jolie, Elisabeth Moss, Mila Kunis, Keira Knightley, Catherine Zeta Jones and Emma Stone are fans of this hue and wore amazing gowns in this color as early as 2011/2012. And the best thing about the emerald green is that it works for literally everyone - men and women, regardless of age, hair and eye color. Now that we know what this year's "it" color is, I found a few products which are currently on sale now and that I would love to add to my wardrobe:

Loiza by Patrizia Pepe Trousers - green SUEDE PERFECTO JACKET Steve Madden INTRUDE - Classic heels - green Escapulario Bracelet - green

I'm very excited to start adding some emerald pieces to my wardrobe, wheter it's a new dress, scarf or cute new shoes, there are so many options in emerald green. The best way of standing out in the crowd with your emerald green clothes is to wear this hue from head to toe. For example a dress or a tunic, pants or a skirt worn with a light chiffon top will look perfect in a single color, and you can also add green accessories like, high heeled shoes or a pair of menswear inspired oxfords, handbags, sunglasses or a hat. Also emerald green looks amazing with almost any other color and especially with neutrals like black, white, beige, brown, camel and nude tones. Colored pants in this hue paired with a detailed blouse in beige or white and pair of color-block heels can take you from day to night and it's one of the quickes and easiest ways to wear this trend.
